Toy Story 3, American 3D computer-animated film and the third feature-length film in the Toy Story series, shocked everyone when it overtook Avatar and Harry Potter to earn the highest grossing movie slot in UK for the year 2010.
Lee Unkrich, who directed this animation movie, earned 73.8 million pounds at the UK box office last year. This record was followed by James Cameron’s sci-fi epic Avatar which grossed 76 million pounds.
The seventh and final series of the Harry Potter movie series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 arrived after this, earning around 48.5 million pounds. Alice in Wonderland and Inception followed these. ![]()
